Elizabeth Reaser is an American television, film and stage actress who is most well-known for her roles in films like The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth was both born and brought up in Michigan. Since her early years she aspired to be an actor. Following her high-school education She enrolled in the drama section of Juilliard School and graduated with a master's degree in fine arts. Her debut on TV was a guest performance in The Sopranos. Then, she was a part of successful television programs like The Jury Hack and Standoff. In 2006, she experienced major breakthrough in her career in the form as Alice Alden was offered to her in the TV series Saved. She then appeared on Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife, and True Detective. In addition, she was a part of films including Liberal Arts One and Two and The Twilight Saga.

From a young age, Jessica expressed interest in the television and film industries. Modeling was the first step in her professional career. Her discovery as an actress after the Australian casting director reached out to models for auditions. In the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls, she was offered the role in the film "Kiki". Since then, she's had minor role on Peter Pan and Aquamarine. The actress played Cleopatra on the Netflix series Roman Empire's second season. She also appeared in the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean film: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was chosen for the role of The Outpost's lead role, Talon. Her producers received a recording of her performance in MMA as well as a video of her acting. They wanted to know if she could do sword fights and she was able to send them an image of sword fighting. Jessica went through the script and knew the character would need weapons training. Her first video was recorded lesson with a professional following studying the script. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team was pleasantly surprised by how well she did in her first class. The previous movies she has appeared in were all made in Australia. In the film, The Outpost was her debut big role in America. Jessica's mix martial art skills and horseback riding skills and athletic abilities enable her to do stunts, embodying the character of a strong woman. She was trained in mixed boxing, martial arts, as well as muay Thai at an Australian gym. On set, shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen was greeted by a dog that was wandering around the scene. The dog in question was actually one of the stray puppies that was living on a setting. Jessica fostered the two puppies.
